Aaron Hudson
Marketing Director

After taking a part-time job washing cars for a local dealership, Aaron Hudson had little idea that the car business would become his career. But at the age of 19, while attending North Carolina State University, Aaron started at the bottom and began to learn about the business. He progressed from the wash pit to working in the wholesale department to selling cars. 

Aaron had recently graduated from college and was working as a salesperson when his boss presented him with an unusual opportunity. The dealership had decided to add an in-house website coordinator, and they asked Aaron to fill the role. He accepted and was given his job description: "handle it." So, with a computer and a cheap digital camera, he set out learn his new assignment. 

As Aaron grew in his new role, so too did dealership websites grow as viable tool for reaching customers. Fast forward a few years and Aaron was promoted to another position that had not previously existed. As Internet Marketing Manager, he oversaw all digital advertising and installed a modern CRM system at the dealership. This bridge between the customer experience online and the dealership experience offline is something he works on to this day.

Aaron joined Anderson Automotive Group in early 2014 as eCommerce Director. His prior experience was invaluable, but he continues to learn and grow in the constantly changing world of technology. In March of 2017, Aaron was promoted to Marketing Director of Anderson Automotive Group. As Marketing Director, Aaron works with the executive management team, dealership General Managers, and key business partners to create and implement a multichannel marketing plan. Aaron also manages several digital resources, including website platforms and CRM system. He works closely with the company's variable operations teams on how to effectively leverage technology for a better customer and associate experience.

Aaron is a graduate of the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.  He is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina.
