Community Involvement

Anderson Automotive Group dealerships have supported our communities through involvement and charitable donations for over sixty years. Through the years we have discovered seemingly unlimited charitable needs with which to contribute our limited resources. To have a meaningful impact, our philosophy is to support a small number of causes with significant amounts in a consistent fashion. We feel this is the best way to have a real impact on important causes and allow the organizations we support to count on us when making future plans. Some of the wonderful causes we support are listed below.

SAFEchild    safechildnc.org

SAFEchild supports families with a wide range of needs, and we're proud to support them. Each family that turns to SAFEchild for help has one goal in mind: To create a stronger bond and develop a nurturing environment for their children to succeed and thrive. SAFEchild's ultimate goal is to eradicate child abuse in our community by helping both grown-ups and kids create safe environments free from neglect and abuse.

Foundation of Hope   walkforhope.com

The Foundation of Hope For Research and Treatment of Mental Illness is a non-profit organization established by the late Thad and Alice Eure to fund mental illness research, which develops more effective means of treatment. The Walk for Hope is an annual event to fund local mental health research at the UNC Neurosciences Hospital in Chapel Hill. Anderson Automotive Group has supported and participated in the Foundation and Walk for Hope event for several years.

Boy Scouts of America   scouting.org

After earning the Eagle Scout as a teenager, Fred Anderson has supported the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) for many years. The BSA's goal is to train youth in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities, educational programs, and, at older age levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations.
